Loading Up for the week long trade show!

So today I am running around getting the last of my stuff ready so I can load up this after noon! I know this is going to be a ton of work but am really looking forward to more networking and showing off my creative works of art. This week will be a great show and tons of fun. I will be working on posting some photos of the booth and other photos of the show. I also can't wait to see some action in the arena! As its been a while on seeing working cattle, dogs, and horses. Watch on facebook page for photos of each days action.
As for when the trade show is done I will be working on more new items and expanding my products. While also getting ready for on Feb 2nd the local chamber is having an event that I will be setting up a table. So more local events to come and enjoy. Make sure to keep an eye on my facebook page and website for listings of events.

Land and Cattle Etched/Vinyl Glass

This is an etched glass with Cowboy, dog, and cattle. I just love cattle and ranching. I etched that on the back side of the glass. Then I laid the lettering on the front side. Creating an effect that wasn't just flat. I love to create works of art that tell a story plus create a 3d layout if its able to. This will get a barn wood frame later this week and get that photo posted later!

Cutting Horse Etched Wood Framed Window

This is a wood framed window I created with an etched cutting horse and cow. This is what I love and always wanted to travel around and do. Then my hubby came into my live and all dreams changed direction. One day I will get back to what I dreamed of. Just have to let my children grow up and move out so I can afford to chase those dreams.If you have ever been on a horse and had to hold on for all you can while the horse works the cow. Its the coolest feeling in the world. Just like how I love reining and all those spins and slides.

Rope Basket with Vase

Here is a recycled item! I created a rope basket and then took a cool vase that has a green tint to it. Put a custom etched team roping and slide it into the basket. Now you can use it as one or use them apart! I can also make the rail road nail and horse shoe card holder to keep all your papers together or hold a business card or photo!

Rope Basket

So I adventured into this craft of taking my old ropes and testing out some skills on making this basket. I do have to say it takes some time, work, heat, and muscle. But it turned out great. Now off to make some more along with some other great etched glass, rustic decor for the Vintage Barn Sale on the 8th!

Custom Designed backpack

Created this backpack for my daughter due to we could not find a monkey backpack. Can custom design and just layer it on to complete the design. This is the first layer and then tomorrow I will complete the other layers. Good thing last year she was given a free bag! It also now matches her lunch bag I also did the same design.

Etched Vine with Painted Grapes

So I tried a new mix of my two favorite styles. I took a grape vine and etched it. Then I came back and painted the grapes in. After it was set up and baked on its now good to go. Food safe and everything!

Glass Vase Etched 2 Ways

I created this vase for a customer that wanted something that is just not the same as everything else. This vase is made to look as the horses are running in the trees. So to do so I did the trees in a cream etch and the horses I sand etched. Some of the trees are in front of the horses. Its just something you have to view it person. With great detail decals a simple design can turn into an etched glass design. The simple design shows how detail an item can get etched. The simple jar is now holding coffee!
Next will be to create a colored etched item.

NEW Waterproof Decals

The decals are great for outdoor use and indoor use! I created a simple design to show how it works. I also tried to video the decal to show how its water proof. It was printed 15 minutes before i ran water over it.

My Custom valentine's day card!

Here is my creation I made for valentine's day. This was so much fun. I created some layers and made it where I could insert a photo on the card or writing. I also added a special touch to the inside. My daughters love it the most.

Also for the front of the card I can flip the insert card over to change the look!

Its so wonderful to have all the creative flow rushing at the start of this new year. 2011 will be a great year. As last week off from work gave me the time needed to learn how to do some new creative layouts with my Silhouette SD. Now its so worth it. Also learned how to use my Cricut Cake Machine. Its the coolest item I have ever been able to use. Now I just have to save up to get the metal cutting machine I would love to use. Here is something I created on the 1st day of 2011. How cool!
